Abstract
In 1926, Lorenz [1] drew attention to the relationship between the solubility of lead in a PbCl2 + KCl mixture and the value of the interfacial tension at the lead-molten salt boundary. The solubility of the lead decreased with increase in the interfacial tension at the Pb-(PbCl2 + KCl) boundary.
