Abstract
The migration of colloids is very common in the supergene zone and constitutes a large percentage of atomic migration. In this chapter, we will consider four topics which are of utmost importance to the geochemistry of epigenesis: (1) the occurrence of colloids in the supergene zone, (2) the migration of substances in the colloidal state, (3) sorption, and (4) the principal groups of colloidal minerals.
