  • Chapter
Human Trophoblast Neoplasms

Abstract

The incidence of molar pregnancy is much higher among oriental people than among white people, the cause of which is not yet known. The majority of gestational trophoblastic tumors are preceded by molar pregnancy, hence the number of patients who have developed gestational trophoblastic disease is higher among oriental people than among white people (1).
