About this series
Bringing the often counterintuitive - and sometimes profound - insights of modern physics and cosmology to the educated public consistently poses real challenges to today’s scientists, whether they are acting in the role of researcher, speaker, or writer. But that’s the challenge undertaken by the select scientists participating in the outreach lecture program Multiversal Journeys. And that’s the goal of the books in the parallel book series of the same name.
The meant-to-inspire books in this series are designed for scientifically literate non-specialists who want to know the latest discoveries in theoretical physics and cosmology in a non-technical language. The level of presentation is appropriate for readers with basic undergraduate background in modern physics and quantum mechanics.
The following topics/volumes are just examples of central topics and subfields to be tackled:
- Mysteries of quantum mechanics
- Latest theories in cosmology
- String theories
- Nature of Space-Time
- Theory of Everything
- Extra Dimensions
Each chapter is written by a leading expert in the fields of theoretical physics and cosmology who is currently actively researching their topic.
