About the editors
Dr. Toscano-Hernández received a degree in Economics from the University of Cartagena (Colombia) in 2012, graduated with a Master's degree in Administration from the Technological University of Bolivar (Colombia) in 2016, and a Ph.D. degree in Economics and Business from the University of Oviedo (Spain) in 2022. Since February 2019, Dr. Toscano-Hernández has been working as a research professor in the Business Administration program at the University of Sinú Elias Bechara Zainum (Colombia).
Dr. Toscano-Hernández's professional perspectives are focused on the effective use of scientific knowledge as a tool for the sustainable transformation of society. His research interests are oriented toward the rigorous use of data analysis, quantitative and qualitative, as a way to boost productivity and sustainable development. Dr. Toscano-Hernández has accumulated 11 years of experience as a professional in the management of higher education institutions and as a professor at universities in Colombia and has taught courses in graduate programs at universities in Spain and Italy. His research work has allowed him to publish: 5 books, 12 articles in indexed scientific journals, and 13 book chapters resulting from research. Additionally, he has received multiple distinctions: in 2006 he obtained second in the admission exam to the Economics program at the University of Cartagena (Colombia), and in 2017 he was the winner of a doctoral scholarship of the Erasmus Mundus program of the European Union Education Commission, in 2018 he was guest editor of a special volume "Marketing in Nonprofit Organizations" in Social Sciences (scientific journal indexed in SJR-Scopus), in 2019 he was recognized as an outstanding reviewer in three scientific journals indexed in SJR (Scopus) of the MDPI publishing house (Switzerland), in 2020 he received an award for the best paper on the topic "Green Marketing and Sustainability" during the XIX International Congress on Public and Nonprofit Marketing "Sustainability (Spain).
Dr. Esparza Rodríguez is a postdoctorate student at the Faculty of Accounting and Management in the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (National Autonomous University of Mexico). Prior to joining the Business faculty at Arkansas State University Querétaro, Saul Esparza was a Doctoral Student at UMSNH, and also a research collaborator of the Centro de Estudios Sociales y de Opinion Publica, at the Mexican Chamber of Deputies in Mexico City. He is an active member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) from the National Council of Humanities, Sciences and Technologies (abbreviated CONAHCYT). He has published widely as a researcher, and he is part of the Michoacan State Researchers System. Dr. Saul Esparza coordinated a TEDxASCUQ 2023 event titled “Make Things Happen”, this was a special gathering where live TED-like talks and performances were shared with the community of the Arkansas State University Campus Queretaro.
Dr. Garcia-Tapia has a Master's Degree in Health Systems Administration and a PhD in Administration Sciences from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He is an active member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) from the National Council of Humanities, Sciences and Technologies (abbreviated CONAHCYT), as well as being an evaluator of the National Quality Postgraduate Program (PNPC Conahcyt). He completed a postdoctoral research stay at the Ibero-American Institute of the University of Salamanca, USAL, Spain, focusing on corporate social responsibility in health matters. He currently works as a permanent professor and tutor of the Graduate Program in Administration Sciences and the Graduate Program in Economics at UNAM.
