About the editors

Kumari Namrata is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur. She has over 20 years of teaching experience. She obtained her B.E. from NIT, Patna, and M.E. in Power System from NIT Jamshedpur. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from NIT, Jamshedpur, in 2017. Her interest areas include integrated renewable energy technologies, modeling of renewable energy systems, modeling, and control of hybrid energy systems. She is supervising several Ph.D. scholars and M.Tech. students. She has published 50 papers in reputed international journals and conferences. Dr. Namrata is a reviewer of the International Journal of Renewable Energy- Hindawi Publishers and International Journal of Emerging Electric Power Systems - De Gruyter.

 

Neeraj Priyadarshi received his M.Tech. in Power Electronics & Drives in 2010 from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, India, and his Ph.D. from Government College of Technology and Engineering, Udaipur, India. His current research interests include power electronics, control systems, power quality, and solar power generation. Currently, he is associated with BITT, Ranchi, India. He has published over 40 papers in journals and conferences. Dr. Priyadarshi is a reviewer of IEEE Systems Journal, International Journal of Modeling and Simulation, International Journal of Renewable Energy Research, and International Journal of Power Electronics and Drives.

 

Ramesh C. Bansal has over 25 years of teaching, research, academic leadership, and industrial experience. Currently, he is a Professor in the EE Dept. at the University of Sharjah, UAE and an Extraordinary Professor at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. In previous postings, he was Professor and Group head (Power) at the University of Pretoria and worked with the University of Queensland, Australia; USP, Fiji; BITS Pilani, India. Prof. Bansal haspublished over 375 journal articles, conf. papers, books/book chapters. He has supervised 25 Ph.D. and 5 Post Docs. Prof. Bansal has attracted significant funding from Industry and Government Organisations. He is an Editor/AE of reputed journals including IEEE Systems Journal, IET-RPG, and TESGSE. He is a Fellow, CP Engg IET-UK, Fellow IE (India), and Senior Member of IEEE. He has diversified research interests in the areas of Renewable Energy, Power Systems, and Smart Grid.

 

Jitendra Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur. He has obtained his B.Tech. degree from UP Technical University, M.Tech. degree from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, and Doctor of Philosophy from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He has published over 22 research papers in journals and conference proceedings. Presently, he is supervising several Ph.D. scholars and M.Tech. students
