About the authors

Prof. Keqiang Li is currently a professor with the School of Vehicle and Mobility, Tsinghua University. His main research areas include automotive control system, driver assistance system, and networked dynamics and control, and has authored more than 200 papers and is a co-inventor of over 80 patents in China and Japan.
 As the leading expert in the field of ICV (Intelligent and Connected Vehicle) in China, Prof. Li has served as the Chief Scientist of China National ICV Innovation Center, and the Chairperson of Expert Committee of CAICV (China Industrial Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance for ICVs). He is leading the national key project on ICVs  in China, the leader of working group for preparing the national strategic reports i.e. Intelligent Vehicle Innovative Development Strategy, Technology Roadmap of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles, and has been a recipient of National Award for Technological Invention in China, etc.Bian Mingyuan, associate professor of School of Vehicle and Mobility, Tsinghua University. His fields of research cover vehicle system dynamics and control, intelligent vehicle and traffic safety control system, structure design and optimization of automobile products. He has also deeply explored active vehicle safety control, vehicle dynamics modeling and other aspects. He has published more than 70 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals and conferences, and authored 5 textbooks and monographs which have been published.


Luo Yugong, professor of School of Vehicle and Mobility, Tsinghua University, obtained the honor of Youth Science & Technology Innovation Leading Talent of Ministry of Science and Technology. His interests of research are focused on intelligent vehicle system dynamics and control. Related research achievements have won two second prizes for national technological invention, one second prize for national scientific and technological progress, three first prizes for provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress and technological invention. He has won the Outstanding Youth Talent Award of China Automobile Industry and Mao Yisheng Beijing Youth Science and Technology Award. He has published 176 academic papers, including 47 in SCI, 149 in EI, and was authorized 78 national invention patents.


Wang Jianqiang, professor of Tsinghua University, doctoral supervisor, distinguished professor of Changjiang Scholars, Ministry of Education, winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and leader of National Ten-thousand Talents Program. Currently, he is the Vice President of Scientific Research, School of Vehicle and Mobility, Tsinghua University, deputy director of State Key Lab of Automotive Safety and Energy, deputy director of Ministry of Education and China Mobile Joint Laboratory of Internet of Vehicles, executive editor of Journal of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles, and deputy editor of IET Intelligent Transport Systems. He is engaged in the research of intelligent safety and technology of vehicles. He has won more than ten kinds of science and technology awards, including two second prizes for national technological invention, two second prizes for national scientific and technological progress, one first prize for technological invention and one first prize for scientific and technological progress from the Ministry of Education. He has published more than 150 SCI/EI papers, authorized more than 100 national invention patents, won five Best Paper Awards of International Academic Conference and one first prize of excellent journal paper.
