About the editors

Dr. Rajesh Kumar received the Bachelor of Technology in Engineering degree with honors in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India, in 1994, Master of Engineering with honors in Power Engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India, in 1997 and Ph.D. degree in Intelligent Systems from Department of Electrical Engineering, Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MREC, University of Rajasthan), India, in 2005. He is currently Professor at Department of Electrical Engineering and Adjunct Professor at Centre of Energy and Environment at Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India. He has been Research Fellow (A) at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at National University of Singapore from 2009 to 2011. He has been Reader from 2005 to 2009, Senior Lecturer from 2000 to 2005, and Lecturer from 1995 to 2000 at Department of Electrical Engineering, Malaviya National Institute of Technology. He is Founder of ZINE student innovative group. His background is in the fields of Computational Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Systems, Power and Energy Management, Robotics, Bioinformatics, Smart Grid, and Computer Vision.


Prof. Chang Wook Ahn received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Information and Communications, GIST, in 2005. From 2005 to 2007, he was with the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, South Korea. From 2007 to 2008, he was Research Professor at GIST. From 2008 to 2016, he was Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea. He is currently Director of MEMI (Meta-Evolutionary Machine Intelligence) Lab and Professor with the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), South Korea. His research interests include genetic algorithms/programming, multi-objective optimization, evolutionary neural networks, and quantum machine learning. He has been Guest Edited various thematic issues in journal of repute. 


Dr. Tarun K. Sharma holds Ph.D. in Soft Computing in 2013 from IIT Roorkee. Since June 2020, he is associated with Shobhit University, Gangoh, Saharanpur, as Professor and Head of CSE and Dean—School of Engineering & Technology. Earlier, he worked with Amity University Rajasthan as Associate Professor and Head—Department of Computer Science & Engineering / IT as well as Alternate Director—Outcome. He has supervised 2 Ph.D., 7 M.Tech. dissertations, several MCA and B.Tech. projects. He has over 80 research publications in his credit. He has been to Amity Institute of Higher Education Mauritius on deputation. He has availed grants from Microsoft Research India, CSIR, New Delhi, and DST New Delhi to visit Australia Singapore, and Malaysia, respectively. He is Founding Member of International Conference on Soft Computing: Theories and Applications (SoCTA Series) and Congress on Advances in Materials Science and Engineering (CAMSE). He has edited 5 volumes of Conference Proceedings published by AISC series of Springer (SCOPUS) Publication and two edited books with Asset Analytics, Springer. 


Dr. Om Prakash Verma is presently associated with Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, Punjab, India, since January 2018 as Assistant Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering. He has almost 11 years of teaching experience. He did his Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee, M.Tech. from Dr. B R Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar, and B.E. from Dr. B R Ambedkar University Agra. He is presently working on ISRO Sponsored Project as a PI. He has edited a book on Soft Computing: Theories and Applications and has been a potential reviewer of several international journals of high repute. He has publishedmore than 30 research papers in SCI/Scopus/ESI indexed Journals. He has published recently a paper in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews (IF: 12.110). He has guided 4 M.Tech. students and supervised 6 Ph.D. students.
Dr. Anand Agrawal received his B.Tech. degree from Samrat Ashok Technological Institute, Vidisha, India, in 2008, M.Tech. degree from National Institute of Technology Bhopal, India, in 2010, and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India, in 2018. Since June 2019, he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Indian Institute of Information Technology Kota, India. From January 2018 to May 2019, he worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology Noida, India. During Ph.D., he was a visiting research scholar at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, from September 2015 to January 2016. Hehas been involved in organizing several national/ international conferences in various capacities. He is Member of Journals Pub editorial board of International Journal of Radio Frequency Design, International Journal of Broadband Cellular Communication, and International Journal of Telecommunications and Emerging Technologies. He is also a reviewer of various reputed national and international journals including Physical Communication, Wireless Personal Communication, Transaction of Emerging Telecommunication Technologies, IEEE Communication Letter, and so on. His current areas of research interest are UWB Communication, mmWave Communication at 60 GHz, Cooperative Communication, IEEE802.15 Standards, 5G Technology, Massive MIMO, and D2D Communication Technology.
