About this book

About the editors

Ali Emrouznejad is a Professor and Chair in Business Analytics at Surrey Business School, University of Surrey, UK. His areas of research interest include performance measurement and management, efficiency and productivity analysis as well as big data and data mining. Dr. Emrouznejad is editor of Annals of Operations Research, department / associate/guest editor or member of editorial board in number of other journals including European journal of Operational Research, OR Spectrum, Journal of Operational Research Society, IMA journal of Management Mathematics, Socio-Economic Planning Sciences, RAIRO - Operations Research. He has published over 200 articles in top ranked journals. Prof Emrouznejad is author / editor of several books including (1) “Applied Operational Research with SAS” (CRC Taylor & Francis), (2) “Big Data Optimization” (Springer), (3) “Performance Measurement with Fuzzy Data Envelopment Analysis” (Springer), (4) “Big Data forGreater Good” (Springer), (5) “Managing Service Productivity” (Springer), (6) “Fuzzy Analytics Hierarchy Process” (CRC Taylor & Francis), and (7) “Handbook of Research on Strategic Performance Management and Measurement” (IGI Global). He is also co-founder of Performance Improvement Management Software (PIM-DEA). 

Vincent Charles, PhD, PDRF, FRSS, FPPBA, MIScT, is a Full Professor and the Director of the Center for Value Chain Innovation at CENTRUM Católica Graduate Business School, PUCP, Lima, Peru. He is a Co-Founder and the Chief Analytics Officer at Anthrolytics Ltd., UK. He holds multiple visiting professorship positions across the Globe. He is an experienced researcher in the fields of artificial intelligence, (big) data science, and OR/MS. He has more than two decades of teaching, research, and consultancy experience, having been a full professor and director of research for more than a decade in triple-crown business schools.He holds Executive Certificates from the MIT, HBS, and IE Business School. He has published over 150 research outputs and is a recipient of many international academic honours and awards. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Accredited Educator, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and Advance HE Certified External Examiner, UK. He is an Associate Editor for the Journal of the Operational Research Society, Expert Systems with Applications, Machine Learning with Applications, Intelligent Systems with Applications, and Decision Analytics Journal, as well as an Area Editor for the International Journal of Business and Emerging Markets.
