MEI LING WANG is Associate Professor of Social Sciences and Health Policy at the University of the Sciences in Philidelphia, USA. She studied at the Harvard School of Public Health and has devoted her career to writing on global issues.

SHUO ZHANG works for DSS VHA, in Texas, USA and has been at the frontline of China's health system.

XIAO-WAN WANG is Professor of Health Economics at the school of Public Health, Central South University, China. He has first hand experience of working in China's health system as an academic and policy analyst.
