About the editors

Dr. Prashant Mishra is the Dean, the School of Business Management (SBM), Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Deemed-to-be-University, Mumbai. In his professional journey of 24 years, he has performed the role of an educator, researcher, trainer, consultant, and institution builder in both public and private educational institutions in India. During his tenure as a Professor of Marketing at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, he served as the Dean, New Initiatives and External Relations (2018-21); the Head of the task force for establishing IIM Bodhgaya (2016-2018); and the Chairperson, Post Graduate Programmes (2008-2012). Dr. Mishra’s research interests include sales and marketing processes, consumer psychology, digital marketing, and sustainability. His research has been published in prestigious outlets, such as Journal of Advertising, Academy of Marketing Science Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, Marketing Intelligence and Planning, Journal of Strategic Marketing, and Australasian Marketing Journal, to name a few.

 

Dr. Ashu Sharma is Associate Professor at the SBM-NMIMS Mumbai. She has an illustrious carrier spanning 24 years in industry and academia. She pursued faculty development programs from IIM Ahmedabad and Harvard Business School, Boston, USA. She has served in various administrative capacities as Program chair and Area chair during her academic tenure. At NMIMS Mumbai, Dr. Sharma instructs courses on operations management, supply chain management, optimization modelling for business decisions and quality management across different programs in management education. Optimization, digitalization, supply chain management are among the prominent areas of her research interests. Her research works are presented in prestigious conferences and published in reputable outlets. 

Dr. Sayantan Khanra is Assistant Professor at the SBM-NMIMS Mumbai. He obtained his PhD from IIM Rohtak, and worked as a visiting research scholar at Turku School of Economics, Finland, and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei. His research interests lie primarily in the domains of digital economy, management of technology, and sustainable development. His research has been published in Journal of Business Research, Enterprise Information Systems, Business Strategy & the Environment, Transforming Government, among other journals of international repute. 

Dr. Sumit K Kundu is the James K. Batten Eminent Scholar Chair in International Business at the Department of International Business, College of Business, Florida International University, USA. He obtained his PhD from Rutgers University, Newark, New Jersey, USA. His areas of research interest are emerging market multinationals, international new ventures and born globals, and theories of multinational enterprise. His research has been published in renowned journals, such as Management International ReviewJournal of Business ResearchJournal of Business Venturing InsightsBritish Journal of ManagementJournal of International Business StudiesJournal of Management Studies. 

Dr. Sushanta Kumar Mishra is a Professor at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore. His scholarly work has been published in the Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Vocational Behaviour, Journal of Organizational Behaviour, Journal of World Business, British Journal of Management, Journal of Business Research, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Review, Human Resource Management Journal, International Journal of Information Management, and in many other journals of repute. His paper in the International Journal of HRM received the Michael Poole Highly Commended Award in 2020. Currently, he is the President of the Indian Academy of Management.
