About the authors
Dr. Ilka Kostka is an associate teaching professor at the College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University, where she teaches and develops academic reading and writing courses to undergraduate and graduateinternational students. She has twelve years’ experience teaching ESL/EFL and TESOL courses for pre-service teachers. Since she began flipping her ESL courses several years ago, she has published and presented on flipped learning at regional and international conferences and provided professional development workshops for instructors. In 2018, she completed the Flipped Learning 3.0 Level-I and Level-II certification courses offered by the Flipped Learning Global Initiative.
