Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Roland Benedix lehrte langjährig neben Allgemeiner und Anorganischer Chemie vor allem Bau- und Umweltchemie an der Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Kultur in Leipzig. Er ist nach wie vor in der bauchemischen Forschung tätig.
