Diese organisationstheoretisch strukturierte Dokumentation präsentiert bisher unbekanntes empirisches Material (Gerichtsfälle) bezüglich der Entstehung der legal person, dem US-amerikanischen Pendant zur „Juristischen Person“. Thomas Matys zeigt, dass die Herausbildung der „Form Organisation“ in den USA als ein kampfreicher historischer Etablierungsprozess zu kennzeichnen ist, der sich zudem fundamental von dem in Europa unterscheidet. US-amerikanische Organisationen („Corporations“) werden vom Individuum her gedacht und forcierten durch die schrittweise Inanspruchnahme von Menschenrechten eine Privatisierung von Herrschaft. Theoretischer Bezugsrahmen ist eine „Kritik der politischen Ökonomie der Organisation“.
