Introduction

This book constitutes extended, revised and selected contributions from the Second International Conference on Geographical Information Systems Theory, Applications and Management, GISTAM 2016, held in Rome, Italy, in April 2016. 

The 10 papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 33 submissions.
