About the editor

Shadia J. Ikhmayies had received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the physics department at the University

of Jordan in 1983 and 1987, respectively, and the Ph.D. in producing CdS/CdTe

thin-film photovoltaic solar cells from the same department and the same

university in 2002. She worked as a member of the academic staff in several

universities in Jordan. Her research is focused on producing and characterizing

semiconductor thin films and thin-film CdS/CdTe solar cells. Besides, she works

in characterizing different materials by computation.
