About the author
Sonny Shiu-Hing Lo is Professor and Deputy Director (Arts and Sciences) at HKU SPACE. Before joining HKU SPACE in 2016, Sonny was Associate Vice President and Head of the Department of Social Sciences at the Education University of Hong Kong.
Sonny is the author of eleven books, including The Politics of Policing in Greater China (Palgrave, 2016), with his research focussing on political change in Hong Kong and Macau, policing, cross-border crime and the historical development of Greater China.
