About the editors
Alexander D. Liddle is the National Institute of Health Research Clinical Lecturer at the UCL institute of Orthopedics and Musculoskeletal Sciences, Royal National Orthopedic Hospital (RNOH), Stanmore, UK. He qualified from Imperial College London School of Medicine in 2004 and undertook surgical training in orthopedic and trauma surgery at the Imperial College hospitals and at the RNOH. He completeda DPhil at the University of Oxford in 2014 with a thesis on failure mechanisms of unicompartmental knee replacement. He has published widely in the major orthopedic journals and in general medical journals, including the Lancet.
