About this book

This volume discusses and compares the contribution of the various imaging techniques employed in the diagnosis and assessment of diseases of the female pelvic organs. Particular emphasis is placed on the role of the newer modalities of MRI, CT, and ultrasonography, including color Doppler. Due attention is also given to interventional procedures and to the evaluation of the effectiveness of different therapies. Each chapter includes carefully selected illustrations, providing an extensive repository of material that will be of assistance in the evaluation of patients.
