Introduction

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the 12th International Conference on Image Analysis and Recognition, ICIAR 2015, held in Niagara Falls, ON, Canada, in July 2015. The 55 revised full papers and 5 short papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 80 submissions.
