About the authors
Reza Masaeli is Assistant Professor in the Dental Biomaterials Department, School of Dentistry, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He gained his DDS at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2004 and in 2015 was awarded his PhD in Dental Biomaterials by Tehran University of Medical Sciences for a thesis entitled “Preparation, characterization and drug controlled-release properties of modified calcium phosphate/PLGA nanocomposite bone cement”. Dr. Masaeli’s principal research interests include dental biomaterials, tissue engineering, and 3D printing.
Kavosh Zandsalimi gained an MSc in Biophysics from the Institute of Biophysics and Biochemistry (IBB), University of Tehran in 2012. He completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering (Biomaterials) at the Department of Life Science Engineering, University of Tehran in 2020. Dr. Zandsalimi’s main research interests include tissue engineering, drug delivery, and 3D(bio)printing.Bibliographic Information
