Abstract
Three groups of Ss were trained to use different cues in learning a simple motor task. All Ss then made three series of test movements, each series including an original movement, an interpolated movement, and recall and relearning of the original movement. The degree to which different kinds of interpolated movements interfered with relearning was dependent on the cues used by S in learning the movement. Group differences in response to the training trials and in retention were also discussed.
