Diagnostics of the Technical Condition of Aircraft Rolling Bearings Using the Holographic Interferometry

Abstract

This paper presents the results of holographic studies for angular contact rolling ball bearings of gas turbine engines. From these studies, the technical condition of angular contact ball rolling bearings was diagnosed and the cause of the defect—rupture of the cage’s side connecting strip, was determined.
