Application of a hydrogasdynamic axial vibration damper for reducing GTE vibration

Abstract

The design of hydrogasdynamic axial vibration damper of gas turbine engine rotor supports is considered. A technique of calculating the dynamic characteristics of the damper is proposed. The value of the damping coefficient was estimated.
