Abstract
A physico-mathematical model of non-equilibrium, primarily, hypersonic flow is proposed. The model is meant for calculating the flow around the aircraft forebody. By taking as an example the solution of the problem on the flat shock wave profile, it is shown that the model being proposed allows the traditional Navier-Stokes-Fourier model to be improved.
