Abstract

The analytical formulas to determine the averaged elastic and strength characteristics of the folded structure core in the form of Z-crimp are obtained based on the assumption that the work of its elements (walls) at loading is momentless and they are eliminated from the work after buckling under bilateral tension-compression with shear. It is necessary to determine the dimensionless coefficients of the structural formulas obtained, that appear in solving the problems formulated, based on the data of the specially performed tension, compression and simple shear tests in two planes.
