Abstract

A mathematical model and a technique for calculating the rolling motion stability of the damper-equipped landing gear wheel are presented; the dependence of dynamic damper rigidity on frequency found experimentally is used in the investigation. The results of calculating the shimmy boundaries with and without regard for the dependence indicated are given.
