Study of Temperature Mode of Support Bearing Units of a Car Gearbox

Abstract

The technology for automatic digital thermal diagnostics of mechanical transmission components is presented using the example of gearbox bearings. The diagnostic criterion is substantiated. The problem of indirectly determining the temperature in the friction zone is solved considering the influence of adjacent heat sources. Thermal imaging of the gearbox operation confirmed the effectiveness of the diagnostics.
