Balancing Drive for a Diesel Engine with Improved Maintenance and Regulation

Abstract

The structure of the balancing mechanism for the 8ChN26/26 diesel engine is analyzed. A balancing drive with a removable housing section is proposed, so as to permit maintenance without disconnecting the alternator.
