Improving the Energy Efficiency of Industrial Buildings

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

Benefits of improving energy efficiency include decreased energy costs, minimal greenhouse gas generation, reduced carbon dioxide emissions, and rational use of energy resources. Adopted as a goal, energy efficiency stimulates the development of innovative technologies. For industrial buildings, energy efficiency means not only lower utility bills but also higher productivity and greater asset value. In the present work, the use of active energy systems to improve the energy efficiency of industrial buildings is considered.
