  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The article discusses key approaches to solving problems related to automation of decision-making processes and considers a classification of negative consequences associated with automation by nature of their occurrence. In many ways, these factors determine production performance. The article considers analytical and statistical systems of a rational approach to decision-making with the goal to improve productivity, important aspects of using mathematical models, statistical methods and algorithms for data processing and for identifying patterns. It is proposed to use the statistical approach, one of the most popular tools of modern decision support systems, to create universal systems capable of adapting to environmental changes and finding optimal solutions even in difficult situations.
