Efficiency Assessment of Air Channel Cooling of a Multi-Turn Coil for Magnetic Pulse Processing of Metals

Abstract

The article proposes an efficient and safe method of air channel cooling for multi-turn coils. It also determines the minimal discharge cycle duration for a magnetic pulse unit when performing a large number of similar magnetic pulse processing operations.
