Abstract
The most important step in preparing for the introduction of failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) at a production enterprise is to create a team of experts. The requirements in terms of skills for FMEA team members are described in detail. Professional requirements for the team in terms of design analysis (DFMEA) and the analysis of production processes (PFMEA) are outlined. Principles for effective training of the experts are discussed.
