Abstract
Collaborative industrial robots are very important in the Industry 4.0 paradigm. The preconditions for the digital transformation of high-tech enterprises are outlined, and the role of collaborative robots in that process is defined. A classification is developed for collaborative robots, in terms of various key parameters.
