Simulation in Selecting Metal-Cutting Equipment at Different Stages of Preproduction

Abstract

Principles for the selection of metal-cutting equipment are established by analysis of the enterprise’s activity, and the configuration of the machine tool that best meets the enterprise’s needs in terms of product quality is proposed. The selected parameter set of the special and universal metal-cutting equipment is appraised in machining a group of parts corresponding to the enterprise’s production program.
