Influence of Cutting Conditions and End Mill Geometry on the Surface Quality in High-Speed Machining of Carbon Composites

Abstract

On the basis of numerical and laboratory experiments regarding the milling of composites, semiempirical formulas are proposed to identify the best machining conditions and ensure the required surface quality.
