Abstract

If the preproduction period is shortened, then new aviation products can be brought to market more quickly. Numerous changes in product design and manufacture require ongoing correction and even replacement of the technological equipment. Therefore, in the tool shops producing such equipment, the production program consists of two parts: (1) work on standard equipment; (2) work on urgent orders. The relation between these two components changes over time. Accordingly, production capacity must be kept in reserve in order to meet urgent orders. Prediction on the basis of an autoregressive model proves useful here.
