ABS Plastic Composites Filled with Corundum Microspheres

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The influence of the content of hollow corundum microspheres and their diameter on the thermal stability and fire resistance of filaments based on ABS plastic is investigated. Surface modification of the microspheres by organophosphorus compounds improves their thermoprotective properties, without loss of strength.
