Corrugation of the Inner Surface of a Cylindrical Shell by Local Plastic Deformation

Abstract

The application of corrugation to the internal surface of a cylindrical shell with different notch depth is simulated, for tools with different working profiles. The stress–strain state and damage in the shell on corrugation by different tools are investigated.
