Abstract
The grinding of special bearing steels (95Х18-Ш, 110Х18-ШД, 75ХГСФ, and 40ХНЮ-ВИ steel) is investigated. The dependence of the mean temperature in the grinding zone and the cutting forces on the machining parameters is determined. Grinding conditions such that no scorch marks appear on the workpiece surface are identified.
