Optimal Synthesis of Hydrodynamic Torque Converters for Special-Purpose Vehicles

Abstract

A method is proposed for the synthesis of hydrodynamic torque converters that may be used in special-purpose vehicles. The first step is to determine optimal parameters. The torque converter is regarded as a complex system with interacting subsystems, which are optimized in the light of their influence on the overall system.
