Multicomponent Management Structure for Knowledge-Intensive Enterprises in Digital Transformation

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

A broad range of possible systems for the management of knowledge-intensive enterprises in digital transformation is assessed. The distinguishing feature of the knowledge-intensive sector in the Russian economy is the use of innovative technologies. The existing management system for knowledge-intensive enterprises consists of elements that not only interact but are interrelated. The core of this system is the interaction between two dominant subsystems: the management subsystem and the managed subsystem. A multicomponent model of the system is developed, corresponding to the management of a knowledge-intensive enterprise in a turbulent digital economy. This system is based on the selection of various groups of components and subprocesses, between which significant relationships are established. The results may be used as the basis for transformation of the management systems at knowledge-intensive enterprises. That would allow them to neutralize external shocks and meet Industry 4.0 requirements.
