Abstract
A mathematical model has been developed for the measurement error. If measurements are made over a narrower angular sector, the radial error of the circle is found to increase. The measurement error is studied experimentally; the results confirm the model findings. A technology is proposed for monitoring products with truncated geometry by means of a coordinate measuring machine. A plan is formulated for monitoring the parameters of components with truncated geometry.
