Design of Roller Beams Using SolidWorks Software

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

Roller beams are investigated by the finite-element method, using SolidWorks Simulation software. Static analysis of the beam’s stress–strain state reveals its inadequate rigidity. The basic structure of the beam is modified to address this problem. Analysis of the modernized beam design shows that its rigidity is adequate.
