Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

A model of the input channel is developed for a two-rotor Roots vacuum pump. In numerical calculations of the input-channel gas flow by means of Ansys Fluent software, for different input pressures, pressure differences, and rotor angles, the flow rate coefficients obtained for the gas are in good agreement with the experimental values.
