Abstract
An existing approach to the deployment of a lunar navigation system for lunar missions is further developed. Attention focuses on radio navigation systems operating with a query model of measurements. The stations in the network are assumed to be located in the vicinity of potential lunar landing sites and possible bases. In a priori analysis of the positioning accuracy, assignment errors of beacon initial coordinates in the local navigation system are taken into account, in the case where coordinate assignment is based on mutual measurements of the distances between the beacons.
