Abstract
Wire-cut electrical discharge machining (EDM) of VKU-39 polymer composite by means of conducting layers is considered. By that means, complex polymer-composite components may be machined with specified accuracy. On that basis, the options for the manufacture of polymer-composite components—including small components—may be expanded. Wire-cut electrical discharge machining may also be used in batch cutting of workpieces.
