Ongoing Monitoring of Flexural Stress in Gear Teeth

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

A nondestructive method is proposed for determining the endurance limit of gear teeth in flexure on the basis of elastoplastic indenter introduction in a sample. Experiments confirm the practical utility of the method.
