Economic Impact of Managing Aircraft Condition on the Basis of Probabilistic Assessment

Abstract

It is important for airlines to reduce costs associated with flight delays due to aircraft malfunctioning. The economic impact of management by airplane condition is assessed. On that basis, methods are proposed for probabilistic assessment of airplane condition.
