Abstract

Damping methods for milling vibrations are studied. A mathematical model is developed for the ratio between the amplitude of the forced vibrations and the parameters of the perturbing pulse. The range of pulsed load parameters corresponding to stable milling is established. The parameters of cylindrical mills corresponding to minimum vibrational amplitude are determined.
